Colombia is one of the largest coffee producing nations in the world alongside Brazil, Vietnam and Indonesia. Coffee was introduced to Colombia in the early 1800s and has traditionally been recognized for it’s high altitude and higher-quality Arabica coffees while boasting incredibly efficient supply lines. In recent years, the Colombian farmers with assistance from the Colombian Coffee Federation (FNC - Federación Nacional de cafeteros) have done a remarkable job in growing and promoting the export of genuine specialty coffee, producing impeccable quality.

This coffee was produced by Don Jairo Murillo and he had worked in coffee for 20 years now. Through his hard work and consistent savings, he was able to gradually buy lands and become one of the largest farms in the area. He and his family works in the farm together. This amazing coffee being grown in the Antioquia region of Colombia about 1800 to 2000 meters above sea levels, mostly comprised of the Colombia and Castillo variety of Arabica coffee. This is a coffee with vibrant profile and has sugar cane, almonds and spices notes in the aroma, and tastes like raisins, plum and cinnamon.
